I'm Allie Steffenhager, a proud mother of four. I now enjoy the wonders
of being a mother. But you see, I was once diagnosed as infertile some

Infertility is a very broad topic. It can be overwhelming ---all the

tell you something, it's always better to know about it than to remain
ignorant.

The success rate of achieving conception in any given month for a
healthy couple hovers between 15 and 20 percent.

Although infertility is technically infertility after a year of trying
without the use of any contraception, it is better to consult a doctor
earlier than that. The sooner he can discover the root cause he can
send you on your way, one step closer to family bliss.

For many women -- especially in the United States - infertility is, in
part, due to the sedentary lifestyle and the corresponding problem of
being overweight.
